  1. Upload final files for Project 2 as a single ZIP archive (style guide, motion piece, wearable, name bade, and poster)

  2. Carefully read the essays provided for Project 3. What are they about? Select and utilize images, diagrams and/or infographics that add visual variety and provide further visual interpretation of the text of each essay. Be sure to write a caption for each image. Create and print a contact sheet of all proposed images to be used.
  3. Design a multi-column master grid for your pages. What are the line lengths, gutters, margins? Print and trim your proposed grid.
  4. Thoughtfully choose a combination of typefaces, considering the subject and the voices of the authors. Ask yourself, “Are these typefaces appropriate? Why?”
  5. Create a style sheet that specifically documents your type choices for all levels of page hierarchy. Pay close attention to the type size and leading, word spacing, paragraph distinctions, use of upper and lower case, small caps, italics, bold type, rules, etc. Print your style sheet.
